PLANTS
Roots
collect water and nutrients from the soil.
The Stem transports these substances to the
leaves.
The Leaves collect sunlight and water to make food. Chlorophyll
is the green stuff in plants that makes food through
photosynthesis.
Pollen (male seed, rather like powdery dust)
is produced on the Anthers and blown or carried,
onto the Stigma.
The Stigma collects pollen and passes it
to the Ovary where the seed is fertilised.
The Seed then falls to the ground and forms a new plant.
